FastMail has been providing email accounts for 10 years to the world's most demanding users. We've built a reputation for reliability and fast response to our users' needs. And we keep you up to date with new features, and show you how to get most out of FastMail with regular updates on this blog.
We have now completed testing the new style sheets, and they are officially released! Click “Options” and then “Account Preferences” to change your style sheet. Everything from “Clouds” on is new. They have been created by generous and talented FastMail.FM users–thanks all! The authors have also provided style sheet descriptions
If you want to upgrade but can’t afford it (e.g. you are in a country with a weak exchange rate, or are a student, or are on disability…) you can apply for a donation from the Helping Hands scheme run by a generous FastMail.FM user. You can also help by donating to this scheme!
If you leave the “Full Name” field blank in Options:Personalities, the Full Name you have in Options:Account Preferences will now be used as your From address when sending mail
The web interface has been a little slower than usual for the last three days due to a process limit set too low for the load we have experienced at peak times. This limit has now been adjusted and speed is back to its normal level
When logging in to FastMail.FM from a public terminal (e.g. an Internet cafe) check the new “Using a public terminal” checkbox on the Login screen for extra security. Click the “?” next to the checkbox to learn more
New Personalities feature. This is just the start of what personalitieswill offer, but for now they’re just a replacement for the Send From Addresseslist that was on the Account Preferences screen.
New style sheets! Click Options, then Account Preferences, and try the new style sheets that we’re testing. Thanks to all the wonderful customers who contributed these style sheets! What’s your favorite?–tell us!
