VISTO.COM users important update:MyVisto has now updated their FAQto include information on migrating to FastMail.FM. However, emails forwardedfrom MyVisto are sometimes sent completely blank, as discussed here.Do not delete your messages from MyVisto until you have successfully receivedthem at FastMail.FM. If you get a blank forwarded message from MyVisto, try resending it.

To help their users who wouldotherwise lose their email and address book, we have spent the last twodays creating a tool to copy MyVisto emails and addresses to a FastMail.FM account.Please click hereand pass this link on to anyone you know who uses the service, since Visto has not yet updatedtheir FAQ to include this.
Enhancement: You can now select the default character set encoding to use on the Preferences screen. This is useful if you receive a lot of emails in the same foreign language encoding so you can then read the message subjects on the Mailbox screen.
Enhancement: The external POP/Hotmail retrieve module has been completely rewritten. See this forum post for details. FastMail can now retrieve from external accounts even without logging in through the web-interface.
Bug fix: Some data entry errors that would cause changes to be lost have been fixed

We have just completed a server move to a new datacenter with a highperformance network. We had a half hour outage due to this move. Ournew service provider guarantees no more than 20 seconds of downtime per month, soyou should now find FastMail.FM even more fast and reliable
Retrieving email from a pop link now adds a header to the email of ‘X-LinkName: <pop link name>’. You can now use this header on the rules screen to direct messages retrieved from a link into a folder.
Work has begun on merging ‘Send From Addresses’ and ‘Signatures’ into ‘Personalities’. See this forum post to find out what this will mean and to add any comments or ideas.
Added three new style sheets: “Trippy” (another creation from Steve, along with “Soothing Blues”), “Professional Blue” (thanks to ‘tenekun’), and “Infinite Blackness” (the most innovative style sheet to date–well done Luan!); click ‘Preferences’ and click the ‘Display Style’ popup to try them out. It’s now much easier to create your own style sheets, as described here.
