Added a new style sheet: “Soothing Blues”; click ‘Preferences’ and click the ‘Display Style’ popup to try it out. Thanks to Steve for these stylish styles! Anyone feeling creative can submit there own style sheet by following the instructions in the fourth post of this thread.
Added a new targeted virus filter. The filter only blocks executable attachments that have been explicitly hidden by the sender, which is a common virus writer’s trick. Normal executable attachments can still be sent and received as usual, but you should never open an attachment if you do not know what it is
Added documentation for Outlook XP; thanks to Geoffrey Cross for providing this.
Removed the filter we added this morning that blocked executable attachments. Too many valid messages were being blocked, and not a single virus or worm was seen in the 12 hours we trialled it. We may turn the filter on during periods of high virus activity in the future for short periods.
Added a new filter to the mail server. FastMail.FM now bounces email that contains executable content, in order to reduce the likelihood of being attacked by viruses spread by Microsoft software. Please zip any executable files before sending them to avoid having them bounced by the mail server.

If you accidently press cancel, or close your browser while composing an email, you will find that your email you were half way through is automatically saved in your clipboard!
International characters sent by certain non-standard email clients are now displayed correctly
