- Security: Numerous improvements to security and robustness, including: Every 15 minutes a script now tests web login, sending, receiving, IMAP, disk space, and mail queue and pages 2 FastMail engineers if any check fails or displays unexpected results; Rate of received and sent messages per user are tracked and potential spam problems cause relevent accounts to be disabled and FastMail staff notified; Signups tracked–potential abuse by signing up too many accounts for one person now tracked and dealt with; quotas added of 100MB per user–anyone using over 50% of quota is notified automatically. These changes should lead to improved service through avoiding abuse of the system.
